Life can get in the way…

Well, pretty much as soon as I said I’d get back on track with posting, I got off track again. I’ve been crazy busy, but also not feeling as motivated about everything, for a number of reasons… In any case, I’m still dedicated to seeing this through. I’m traveling, and will try to post every day, but regardless, I’m going to finish what I started. All 31 days!

I have never had a vote, and I have raised hell all over this country. You don’t need a vote to raise hell! You need convictions and a voice!

Day Twenty-three: back on track!

Well, I missed the last three days, as I was home in Colorado for a wedding, and was not on the internet at all. So I let the blog slide…blast! Because of that, I’m going to just push the end of it back a few days, so I’m still doing thirty-one. Moving forward…

This is my find for today. Such an amazing essay. Absolutely worth reading.

Day Twenty-two: look at this incredible, lovely lady!
Tao Porchon Lynch, at 93, is the oldest-living yoga teacher in the world. I love these pictures—she seems like such a sweetheart! And such an incredible example of strength, power, and positivity. From her website: “There is nothing you cannot do.” Wise words.

Day Twenty: "Plant Tomatoes. Harvest Lower Crime Rates."

Fantastic article from Mother Jones.

(belated) Day Nineteen: an inspiring night of theatre

Last night I went to Victory Gardens to see Oedipus El Rey, which was fantastic. Then, after the show, I had the opportunity to talk to the playwright, Luis Alfaro, who is one of the most inspiring theatre artists I’ve ever encountered. I came home so energized and delighted that I forgot to post! See the show.
